Pork Roll Fries: Bond Street Bar's Gift to Mankind

Bond Street Bar in Asbury Park is a little bar with a big appetite."Cheap eats. Cheap drinks.Good friends. Great times.GFY," is their motto. The menu features many gut busting, heart stopping, deliciously no-good-for-you goodies, however, one holds a special place in my heart, PORK ROLL FRIES (yes, pork roll, not taylor ham, North Jersey).

Strips of deep-fried pork roll served with cheese sauce that is topped with just a touch of balsamic, it doesn’t get much better than that. Pair it with a Dennis Hopper, a combination drink order that pairs Pabst Blue Ribbon with a shot of the cheapest whiskey known to man, if you are feeling brave.

If you venture into the eye of Bond Street Bar remember to stop at an ATM, because it is a cash-only establishment.
